All teams participating in the showcase format will need to submit a soft copy and a hard-copy of their analysis. There will be drop boxes opening later in the year for teams to submit their reports (this is mandatory) and slideshow presentations (this is not mandatory). Teams will provide a hard-copy of their report to the judge as well during ICAC. Individuals participating through the writtens format will need to submit their report in the dedicated dropbox, more information for which will be posted shortly.

Yes, it is mandatory for all models to be maximum 50 x 50 x 50 cm. Keep in mind that the model does not need to be functioning, but rather a representation of the different aspects of your innovation.
The analysis should be within the given 5 page limit (excluding bibliography, in APA format but including tables and images) and have the following: size 12 font in Times New Roman, 1-inch margins, single-spaced, maximum word limit of 6000.

For showcases, participants may compete individually or in teams of up to 4. Team members do not have to be from the same school/chapter. Writtens must be completed individually.

Please remember to arrive on time at your allocated presentation time and to bring a device should your presentation require it. Writtens will be marked after the dropbox closes, and the winners will be announced at ICAC.
Art AYIC

In addition to submitting the art piece on time, you will need to submit an Artist’s statement, a 600 word reflection to be submitted alongside your piece.
There is no strict format required for the Artist’s statement besides that it must be a maximum of 600 words, and that it is submitted on time along the art piece.
Yes, digital submissions are allowed but are subject to scrutinization to prevent plagiarism and the use of AI. They are to be submitted by the same deadline.
After the submission deadline, judges will begin evaluating each mixed media pieced based on the ART AYIC Criteria, which can be found on the ART AYIC page. From there, ranking participants will be able to recieve prizes.
