Overview
Art Annual Youth Innovation Challenge (Art AYIC) is a competitive conference for creative youth of today. The conference encompasses career counseling and skill-based, competitive, workshops which allow youth to connect with industry professionals. Students work on a contemporary, multimedia piece throughout the year on a thought-provoking prompt. They submit the contemporary piece with an Artists Statement at Art AYIC to be displayed and assessed at the exhibition.

Rules & Regulations
Art AYIC Regulations
- Judges may penalize contestants, after consultation with STEAM IC management, if they feel there has been a rule infraction not explicitly stated in the Rules and Regulations.
- All material submitted at the Art AYIC become the property of the STEAM IC. The STEAM IC may use or allow affiliated partners to publish submitted material.
- Contestants may not provide judges with any items, gifts or notes.
- All attendees of ART AYIC must be dressed in attire according to the dresscode regulations of that year.

Eligibility
- Participants must be registered with the STEAM Innovation Challenge by latest January 1st, 2025 to attend ICAC.
- If special accommodation for Art AYIC is needed, it must be requested by January 15th, 2025.
- All participants must be in high-school or between the ages of 13-19.

Point Deductions
- Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Judges will determine point deductions will be made depending upon the extent of the plagiarism.
- Art Pieces submitted late may be subject to point deductions
- Individuals absent for the closing remarks forfeit their prizes/awards.
