Description

Rotation Activities
Most of this event consists of activities among which participants will rotate. These activities cover the branches of mechanical, civil, chemical, computer, and aerospace engineering. There is also a case-study activity to test your engineering knowledge!
- Mechanical Engineering: A Rube-Goldberg machine competition, exploring concepts in physics & simple machines
- Chemical Engineering: Building a water filter, creating an understanding of how chemicals are used in day-to-day activities
- Civil Engineering: Develops the fundamentals of architecture through a Bridge building activity
- Aerospace Enginnering: Using paper airplanes to explore aerodynamics in engineering and how these concepts can be scaled-up to real-life applications
- Biomedical Engineering: Challenging the applications of academic concepts through a case study that focuses on improving accessibillity for individuals who struggle with quality of life.
- Computer Engineering: Utilisation of Arduinos to learn and apply the fundamentals of Computer science.
